To the left is the large and solidly constructed sign tucked away
behind the small estate wall. Turn your back to the sign and you can see the
view of the village shown in the bottom right picture. A little further through
the village you can see the church of St. Peter and St. Paul prominent on the
rising ground to your left and shown in the top right picture. This church
dates back to the 14th century, but it was falling into disrepair until Edward
Prince of Wales bought the Sandringham estate and carried out the necessary
repairs. The clock which is on four faces of the tower was installed in
1907.
