There has possibly been a church on this site since medieval times. The tower dates back to the 14th century and contains five bells. Entries in the church register date back to 1583. Two fine stained glass windows are shown to the sides and below left is the Norman font. Below is a view down the church to the rood screen which was installed in 1912.
